I am a retired, art teacher. I have a masters degree in art education from the University of Kansas. I have been painting, mostly plein air, exhibiting, and traveling since I retired in 2005. artist
I predominately work in oils, when painting outdoors. I enjoy using watercolors when painting in the studio from sketches and photos taken on location. I also love to sketch with pen and ink, especially while traveling.
I enjoy the beauty of the world, from sunrise to sunset. My painting has enabled me to enjoy the world in a personal way by interpreting sky, water and landscapes with different mediums.
My blog will keep you up to date on current activities, travels, shows, etc.
